Mr. Robinette was among the original members of Westwood's Advisory Board since it was established in 2019.  Through last four years, Nathan has provided his expertise and guidance resulting in a positive impact to the company.  We appreciate your graciousness and all your contributions to making us stronger well into the future.  We all wish you a very happy happy retirement!    

Prior to joining our Advisory Board, Mr. Robinett spent his entire 49-year career in the banking industry before retiring in 2017. Throughout his career he held several long-term executive-level positions including Regional Chairman of Frost Bank (Dallas), Regional Chairman of Frost Bank (Fort Worth); Chairman of Texas Commerce Bank (Arlington); and President of First City National Bank (Arlington). He has built his reputation on being proactive, anticipating potential problems, and finding solutions to meet a specific need.  Mr. Robinett is recognized for his strengths in strategic planning, budgeting, asset liability management, asset quality, business development, human resource management, board governance, and public/community relations.  Notable achievements in his career include successfully shepherding a community bank through the Texas energy and real estate market collapse; recruiting, developing, and retaining teams of bank professionals that significantly grew market shares throughout North Texas; and integrating four acquisitions into one business unit. Mr. Robinett was named 2015 Tarrant County Banker of the Year by Texas Banking magazine.  He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from Texas Wesleyan University and a master’s degree from SMU’s Graduate School of Banking.  Following his belief in immersing himself in the community and becoming a good community servant, he has served on numerous Boards for local organizations and is currently an active Board Member for the Dallas Theological Seminary Foundation.
