Did you know.....Americans celebrated George Washington’s birthday informally in the years after his death in 1799, and February 22 was first recognized as a national holiday in 1879? In 1971 the Uniform Monday Holiday Law changed the date to the third Monday in February. Overtime, it has evolved into a celebration honoring the history of the American presidency and the contributions of all past presidents of the United States. We'll be celebrating the holiday next week, along with many of our fellow Americans.
We will be closed on Monday, February 19th in observance of Presidents Day.
